Winchester 1917 FIELD GRADE

The bore is Dull, some pitting, 5 groove
Receiver: Some wear, in excellent condition
Bolt: Complete, Mostly Eddystone with Remington Sear
Floorplate: Eddystone
Markings & Other information: Half of Matching Serial Number Pair. Both 1917’s
Field Grade WRA 1917. Fair to good military finish on metal throughout. Barrel is a Winchester 1-18 barrel with the flaming ordnance bomb. Muzzle measures at a 2+ with the throat measuring at 1+. The bore is dull with some pitting, but rifling is crisp. The rifle passes headspace on a Clymer field gauge. Stock is in fair condition with dings, dents, and scratches. O.G.E.K. cartouche with serif P proof mark, along with other military stampings to the rear and front of the floor plate. Rear sight has a bend in the ladder, but is still serviceable.

The bore is dull, some pitting, 5 groove
Receiver: Some wear, in excellent condition
Bolt: Complete, All Eddystone parts except “W” stamped firing pin
Floorplate: Remington
Markings & Other information: Half of Matching Serial Number Pair. Both 1917’s
Field Grade Eddystone 1917. Good to very good military finish on metal throughout. Barrel is an Eddystone 10-17 with the flaming ordnance bomb. Muzzle measures at a 0+ with the throat measuring at an even 1. The bore is dull with some pitting, but rifling is crisp. The rifle passes headspace on a Clymer field gauge. Stock is in fair condition with dings, dents, and scratches. It has been sanded and refinished at some point in its life, but a boxed OHA 1919 and boxed RIA cartouche are still visible.
