M1898 KRAG, Cutdown Field Grade

Serial Number 206281

Highlights

Muzzle: 1+

Barrel: Unmarked

Bore is Dull, pitted and worn

Receiver: Good military finish w/ some wear

Bolt: In Good condition

Markings & Other information:

NOTE: THIS RIFLE HAS NOT BEEN TEST FIRED. CLOSES ON NOGO GAUGE
Springfield M1898 Krag Cutdown Field Grade. Rec has Good military finish w/ some wear. BBL is unmarked and Bore is Dull w/ pitting. Rifling in Bore is in Good condition. BBL has been cut down to 24.25” to mimic a carbine. Stock was originally a full length stock, was cut to fit a shorter bbl.. Stock has glossy finish and is in Good condition. Forend tip of Stock has a crack that runs lengthwise under the upper band. Handguard has a small crack on front.
