Markings & Other information: Remington Model 1903  WWII manufacture (1942)

• Although it is a model 1903, Remington included several upgrades that would eventually be seen in the 1903-A3.  These include but are not limited to a solid trigger guard/magazine with incorporated floorplate and removal of the bolt stop

• Receiver is in very good condition with a very good military finish

• Barrel has good muzzle and throat readings and the bore is dull and somewhat pitted

• Stock markings indicate a refurbishment at Rock Island Arsenal no later than 1946.  The stock is in good shape with just a few dents and dings

• Parts are from mixed manufacturers.
