Rifle is in overall Excellent condition. The action is a US stamped Reminigton short action w/ a striper clip cut under the scope mount. Factory mounting holes for scope base and side mount peep sight present. A Redfield Illuminator 3-9x40 (circa 1980’s) scope is mounted on a single piece mount. Barrel is a heavy contour (.790” at muzzle) replacement w/ no markings. Bore is bright w/ 6-grooves. Stock is standard hunter style. Action has been bedded cleanly. SN is carved and traced into the barrel channel just forward of the bedding. Barreled action has a parkerized finish w/ some wear.
