This rifle is in overall excellent condition with no issues on the receiver or barrel. The barrel has an excellent muzzle reading and a Bright bore that shows little use. The stock has a few dents and dings and is serialized to the receiver. The bolt is also serialized to the receiver. According to the Remington Arms website, approximately 2,427 of these rifles were made. Of these 1,000 were purchased by the US navy as trophy rifles. CMP cannot confirm that this is one of the navy rifles, but its condition indicates little to no use.
