The rifle is in overall excellent condition. The metal parts have an excellent military finish w/ some wear from use. The receiver was originally built as a M1C but was converted to a standard receiver w/ the holes plugged during the SA-52 rebuild. The SA-52 rebuild stamp can be found on the shelf behind the rear sight. The barrel is a SA 5-52 w/ bright bore and very good T/M readings. The stock and handguards are SA. The stock has a SA JLG cartouche and Ordnance Wheel stamp. The parts are of mixed manufacturer w/ several SA parts.
