Markings & Other information: Harrington and Richardson Custom Shop Special with M1D Sniper Rifle Conversion with M84 Scope. 

This rifle is in pristine condition. The barrel is a new Faxon barrel which has been converted to an M1D, has a bright bore and excellent muzzle and throat readings. The receiver has been re-parkerized. The stock and handguards are a new CMP set which has been custom finished. The set was hand sanded to remove any imperfections; a red stain applied then hand rubbed with 10 coats of Tru-Oil. All other parts are either new or have been re-parkerized. A period M84 scope is mounted to the rifle using a reproduction mount. The scope has clear optics, and the adjustment knobs perform well. A T-37 Flash hider is mounted in place of the Gas Lock. A cheek pad is also on the rifle with an MRT Date of Feb 1952.
